#bechange: Workshops

Workshops in all 16 German states

The foundation of #bechange is laid with 16 workshops in all 16 German states. Here, people will try out in many different ways how energy unfolds, water resonates and equal opportunities move. No two workshops are the same: the cooperating institution, the workshop participants and the issues that concern them all collectively determine the focus of each workshop. A playful, joyful and creative way of working is always the main focus, while participants, kept to a maximum of 25, have a leading role in the workshop. The 4-day sessions conclude with a workshop concert, which can also be accompanied by an explanatory discussion

About the #bechange series

#bechange is a new chapter, a word of encouragement to all curious people, a touch of confidence in a world in disarray, and above all a musical invitation to get involved: to think, feel and create something new.

#bechange asks about change in each and every one of us and invites musicians and the audience to consider their perspective on the central questions of our time. All voices, whether loud or quiet, are heard in an open discussion of hope, guilt and responsibility in the face of the global ecological crisis.

FOUR COMPOSERS

With #bechange, Stegreif approaches the topic of sustainability from a wide variety of perspectives. Addressing the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), four premiere programmes are developed that focus on four historical female composers. Consisting of works from Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, Hildegard von Bingen, Clara Schumann and Emilie Mayer, four musical-visual productions arise, arranged by female recomposers of the Stegreif Orchestra.

SYMPHONY OF CHANGE

The multi-layered musical, visual and social experiences from the #bechange programmes and the #bechange workshops culminate in the symphony of change.
